This journal is published twice a year (June and December) by the Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam (STAI) Al-Kifayah Riau-Indonesia. This journal is intended to be a journal for publishing original articles on the latest issues and trends of the Islamic basic education curriculum, learning, policies, and teacher preparation to advance knowledge of Islamic basic education theory and practice. All manuscripts submitted will initially be reviewed by an editor and then evaluated by a minimum of two reviewers through a double-blind review process. However, previous studies have predominantly emphasized cognitive development without systematically integrating spiritual dimensions into educational programs. This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of the Islamic Boarding School (IBS) program as an effort to enhance Imtaq and Iptek in developing students’ spiritual potential at MTs Negeri 1 Kebumen. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings reveal that the IBS program is implemented through curriculum integration combining Islamic and digital literacy values, habitual religious activities, and additional services that support spiritual and intellectual formation. Teachers and IBS supervisors play crucial roles not only as educators but also as character facilitators and coordinators of religious activities. Supporting factors include parental involvement, a conducive school environment, and adequate facilities, while inhibiting factors stem from gadget use, student fatigue, and peer influence. This study concludes that the IBS program significantly contributes to balancing Imtaq and Iptek development and enriches the model of spiritual-integrated education in Islamic schools. This study aims to analyze the role of the Maulid tradition as a means of internalizing the values of faith, sharia, and morals in forming a strong, harmonious, and integrity-based religious character. The research method used is qualitative with a case study, including data collection through interviews, participatory observation, and literature study. The results of the study show that the Maulid tradition is effective in strengthening religious character education by combining spiritual, social, cultural, and psychological aspects comprehensively. This tradition not only strengthens the spiritual bonds of the Nahdliyyah community, but also fosters values of moderation, tolerance, compassion, and social responsibility that are contextual to community life. This study aims to analyze the influence of family environment, peer interactions, and digital technology on students’ character development within the context of modern Islamic education. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design conducted at MTs Negeri 1 Kebumen. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using thematic analysis with data triangulation to ensure validity. The findings reveal that the family environment plays a dominant role in shaping students’ religious character, while peer relationships and digital technology significantly affect their social and moral behavior. Strengthening Islamic values through faith-based school programs and family guidance effectively helps students utilize technology wisely. Using a qualitative research method with a library research approach, this study analyzes various relevant books, articles, and academic journals to obtain a comprehensive understanding of student planning, new student admissions, data management, student rights and obligations, attendance recording, discipline development, student transfers, grade promotion, graduation, and alumni involvement. The findings indicate that student administration encompasses a series of structured activities from student admission to post-graduation, all of which aim to support effective and conducive learning processes while optimizing student potential.
