This journal is published twice a year (February and August) by the Institute for Research and Community Service of the Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Tarbiyah Al-Kifayah Riau-Indonesia. This journal is intended to be a journal for publishing original articles on the latest issues and trends of the Islamic basic education curriculum, learning, policies, and teacher preparation to advance knowledge of Islamic basic education theory and practice. All manuscripts submitted will initially be reviewed by an editor and then evaluated by a minimum of two reviewers through a double-blind review process. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari tes awal siswa sehingga hasil yang diperoleh tidak sesuai yang diharapkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan metode <em>imla’</em> dengan bantuan kartu huruf hijaiyah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis huruf hijaiyah pada siswa kelas III MI Darul Ulum Pekanbaru. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini menggunakan metode <em>imla’ </em>dengan bantuan kartu huruf hijaiyah. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III yang berjumlah 17 siswa. Pada penelitian ini terdiri atas dua siklus. Agar penelitian tindakan kelas ini berhasil dengan baik tanpa hambatan yanag mengganggu kelancaran penelitian, peneliti menyusun tahapan-tahapan yang dilalui dalam penelitian tindakan kelas yaitu: 1) perencanaan, 2) pelaksanaan tindakan, 3) observasi dan refleksi. Data hasil belajar siswa dikumpulkan menggunakan tes dan lembar pedoman observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa penerapan metode <em>imla’</em> dengan bantuan kartu huruf hijaiyah uantuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis huruf hijaiayah pada siswa kelas III MI Darul Ulum Pekanbaru. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dari peningkatan keterampilan menulis huruf hijaiyah yang signitif yaitu pada siklus I pertemuan pertama dengan persentase 52,94% dan siklus I pertemuan kedua dengan persentase 64,70%. The research took place from October 30, 2023, to November 10, 2023, with 4 learning sessions and 2 daily quizzes. The subjects in the study are 20 students from MI Al-Kifayah Pekanbaru. The form of the research is classroom action research consisting of two cycles. The data collection technique in the research was conducted using observation techniques and learning outcome tests. The test techniques included daily quizzes I and daily quizzes II. The mathematics learning outcomes of the students were analyzed for student mastery with the average mathematics learning outcomes of the fourth-grade students at MI Al-Kifayah Pekanbaru. The average learning outcome analysis compared the results before and after the intervention.From the comparison results, there is an improvement in the learning outcomes of the 4th-grade students at Damaia Sejahtera Elementary School, Pekanbaru. At the baseline score, the number of students who completed the course was 7 students (35%), in the first daily test the number of students who completed was 11 students (45%), an increase of 5 students, and in the second daily test, the number of students who completed was 16 students (80%). The average student learning outcome at the baseline score was 67.9, in the first daily test it was 76, and in the second daily test, it became 81.65. This research was conducted from March to April 2024. With a total of 25 students, 15 male students, and 10 female students. The design of this research is Classroom Action Research. (PTK). The parameters measured are student learning outcomes, student activities, and teacher activities. The research instruments used are the question item sheet and the observation sheet for student and teacher activities. The results of the first meeting of Cycle I observations show that the teacher's activity was good at 71.43%, and the second meeting was 78.57% in the good category. For Cycle II, the observation of the teacher's activity increased to the very good category at 92.86% and Cycle II at 96.42% in the very good category. Meanwhile, the students' activities were in accordance with the plan, with the students' activities also increasing to the good category in Cycle 1, meeting 1 at 71.43%, meeting 2 at 85.71%, Cycle II, meeting 1 at 89.29%, and meeting 2 at 92.86% in the very good category. Meanwhile, the students' learning outcomes also showed improvement, with the initial average score of 59.20 increasing to 72.64 in the first cycle and further rising to 81.12 in the second cycle. The percentage of completeness in the first cycle was 68% and in the second cycle was 92%.
