Pengaruh Game Based Learning Berbasis Canva AI Terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa MTs Muhammad Abduh

This study aims to examine the effect of Game-Based Learning (GBL) developed with Canva AI on mathematics learning outcomes among Grade IX students at MTs Muhammad Abduh. A quantitative experimental approach was employed, using a one-group pretest–posttest design. Sixteen students participated in the study, and data were collected via a mathematics achievement test administered before and after the intervention. Data were analyzed using a paired-sample t-test. The results revealed a significant improvement (p = 0.000 < 0.05), with the pretest mean at 54.56 and the posttest mean at 83.38. These findings suggest that GBL mediated through Canva AI is effective in enhancing students’ mathematics achievement while also creating a more enjoyable and interactive learning experience. However, the study is limited by the absence of a control group and the small sample size, which may constrain the generalizability of the results. The implications of this research are that teachers can use Canva AI to design interactive games or quizzes for mathematics instruction. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of Canva AI as a tool for interactive game/quiz development within a Game-Based Learning framework at the junior high school (MTs) level
